The Wine Country
Celebrating its 20th year in business, The Wine Country has much more than just wine. From Wednesday to Saturday, you can attend one of their many tastings and events at 2301 Redondo Avenue in Signal Hill, just a little over 10 minutes from Cerritos.
The Wine Crush
With 10 years under their belts, the owners of The Wine Crush have made their business one of the most prestigious wineries in Long Beach. While anyone can buy their vast selection of wines, they especially cater to their Club Crush members. When you join Club Crush, you receive two hand-selected, small-production wines every other month or four times a year, depending on your selected membership. In addition, they host a fabulous wine tasting and pick-up party for people who have a scheduled shipment that month. An added benefit of Club Crush is the no corkage fees commitment at several Long Beach restaurants.
Seal Beach Winery
Less than 15 minutes from Cerritos, Los Alamitos is home to Seal Beach Winery, one of the best boutique wineries in the area. Seal Beach offers more than 10 different varieties of wine including pinot noir and Grenache. All of the wines at Seal Beach Winery are made by winemaker Michael Dawson. The tasting room, located at 3387 Cerritos Avenue, is open to the public Thursdays through Sundays.
Marabella Vineyard Company
This family-owned business has been making wine since 1932. Known for their famous Marabella DAGO RED Wine & Wine Vinegar, this winery located in San Pedro also sells wine supplies, books, and recipes to try your hand at making wine in the comfort of your own home. During the harvest season of August through December, you can make wine or juice with oak hand presses like they used when the business first started. This family-friendly winery lets you enjoy wonderful wine while the kids can drink fresh grape juice. Winery at Main Street
Open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays, the Winery at Main Street in Yorba Linda is a great place to relax and have a great time. This winery offers a decent-sized appetizer menu and some non-alcoholic beverages if you want to take a break from sipping their unique wines. Every Friday and Saturday night, live music adds to the ambiance of this cool lounge-like winery. Wine enthusiasts can even join their wine club that has six different tiers depending on the type of wine you enjoy the most. You can order either a full or half batch to match your taste preference and you can even have a customized label.
