When Albert Shim founded Belly BombZ back in 2012, he was looking for an outlet where he could combine his Korean roots with his classical French training. The truck allowed him to experiment with his famous chicken wing recipes, which are the core of the menu.

• To try: If you’re daring enough, give the Zombie Wings a go. Their roasted red bell pepper, habanero, and Culo Killer blend really packs a delicious punch.

Chubbee Monkee | Lakewood

Chubbee Monkee’s owner worked in an office for 18 years before quitting to pursue his passion. All he wanted was to provide the community with quality, locally-sourced food using mom-n-pop goods, both of which are apparent in the rich flavors of his menu.

• To try: The Jungle Fries will leave you stuffed. They include smoked brisket, salsa verde, and house garlic sauce all over a bed of crispy fries.

The Coconut Truck brings Orange County and the surrounding areas Cambodian-inspired street food with a modern twist. Their Num Pang (sandwiches) and Num Bai (rice bowls) have garnered quite the reputation in the past few years.

• To try: The Surf & Turf sandwich, which comes with lemongrass ribeye steak and their famous coconut shrimp.

When GD Bro started its journey back in 2013, the owners were aiming to reinvent the way we eat hamburgers. One of the ways they’ve done this is by merging American, Korean, Italian, and Mexican influences all in one savory menu.

• To try: The Italian Stallion is topped with mozzarella sticks, pepperoni, spinach, pizza sauce, and ranch dressing. Pair it with a red velvet milkshake for the ultimate belly-busting lunch.

The keystone of The Lime Truck menu has always been good old-fashioned California cooking, made with organic ingredients and offering healthy alternatives. Their food is so fresh and delicious that they’ve repeatedly been named one of Yahoo!’s Top 10 Trucks in America.
