Your Guide to LA Food Fest

Pick your poison: Bottles of craft beer, bites of barbequed brisket, or blackened bacon cheeseburgers? You’ll get all that and more at the seventh annual LA Food Fest, the largest, most affordable tasting event the city has to offer.

This year’s culinary celebration is slated for July 8 through 10 at Exposition Park and boasts more than 100 vendors. If you’re a foodie with an adventurous palate, you won’t want to miss the LA Food Fest.

Here’s a taste of what you can expect at this year’s festival.

LA Food Fest MRKT

Eat your heart out during the LA Food Fest’s MRKT event in Exposition Park, 800 Exposition Park Drive, Los Angeles.

With 100+ vendors and signature items priced at just $5 and $9, you can create your own culinary adventure. Entertainment, live culinary stages, shady lounge areas, and a Food Porn Cinema add to the MRKT’s lively atmosphere, so grab some friends and enjoy this incredible weekend.

Rose Garden Kickoff Party

The LA Food Fest kicks off with an exclusive long-table dinner at the Rose Garden Pop-Up Restaurant.

Celebrating the past and present of LA Food Fest, this intimate, multi-course family-style dinner is complete with champagne, beer, wine, and a souvenir glass. With incredible food pairings and a luxurious ambiance, the Rose Garden Kickoff Party is a relaxing, romantic way to start the weekend.

Tickets to the Kickoff Party include admission to the LA Food Fest MRKT event on Saturday and Sunday. Be sure to snag one before they run out!

LA Food Fest in the Rose Garden

July 9 – 10, 2016 — $95/$125
701 State Drive, Los Angeles

On Saturday and Sunday, the Rose Garden Pop-Up Restaurant will feature chef-hosted hangry brunches at 11 am, lunches at 2 pm, and dinners at 7 pm. Guests can indulge in decadent, family-style meals crafted by some of the best chefs in Los Angeles, complete with souvenir glasses and beer/wine pairings.

Admission to the brunches and lunches are $95. Dinners cost $125. Each ticket includes entry to the LA Food Fest MRKT and access to the VIP Rose Garden Lounge.

Golden Hour

July 9 and 10, 2016, noon – 2 pm, $69

With a Golden Hour Ticket, patrons get an all-you-can-eat Food Fest special. Enjoy two hours of early admission entry, two drink tickets, unlimited samples from the festival’s more than 100 vendors, all-day entry to the MRKT event afterwards, and more.

What to Wear

If you go to this year’s LA Food Fest, wear clothes with extra wiggle room and preferably an elastic waistband. Your stomach will thank you.

We also recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. The LA Food Fest spans three long days in the sun, so wear anything you need to keep from getting burned.
