Haute Dog Howl’oween Parade

Are you a dog lover? What about a dog in costume? The Haute Dog Howl’oween Parade is coming to Marina Vista Park on October 28. It’s your chance to check out some cute costumed puppies, or you can even dress your own dog up and sign them up for the parade. Dogs compete for prizes like free dog food for the year. There are plenty of different categories to compete for, including both costumes and themes. Bring your pup to strut their stuff at the Haute Dog Howl’oween Parade.

Long Beach Zombie Fest

It wouldn’t be fall without a few scares, and you can certainly get that in October with the Long Beach Zombie Fest. This three-day event, (October 19-21) will feature hordes of zombies taking over Rainbow Lagoon Park. You can either watch and try not to get bit, or simply don your makeup and wounds and join the festivities. There’s plenty of things to do, including the Zombie Apocalypse Scavenger Hunt, or you could take the Thriller workshop to learn the iconic dance! Remember to check out the live Alligator Exhibit before you leave!

Pa’s Pumpkin Patch

One of the best activities you can do in the fall is go pumpkin picking. It’s your chance to head out to the Pa’s Pumpkin Patch with your little ones and find the perfect pumpkin to take home. This isn’t an ordinary pumpkin patch, because this one has plenty of fun and family-friendly attractions like Pa’s Wild Roller Coaster, live pony rides, carnival games, and a petting zoo.
