In the case of this dessert shop, the name couldn’t be any more accurate. While a savory meal often seems to be in high demand, nothing comes across stronger than an incessant sweet tooth craving.

Although Cravings has only opened as recently as 2014, they’ve made quite the name for themselves in that time. Their shaved ice and ice cream are delicious, but the dessert crepe, in which you can choose your filling, two fruits, and a topping, really seems to be where it’s at.

Shaved ice is one of those treats we sometimes take for granted. Perhaps this is because it’s so simple. With nothing more than ice and syrup, there’s not much to it, is there? Well, Ochies proves this idea completely wrong.

Ochies is said to have the world’s best shaved ice (as well as out-of-this-world boba and mangoneada). Ultimately, it comes down to their creative syrups, all 50+ of which are made with pure cane sugar and zero preservatives. Choose up to three different flavors for your next cone!

Of course, this list just wouldn’t be complete without one good old-fashioned family ice cream shop. Though, honestly, with the variety and inventiveness of the flavors at Salt & Straw, “old-fashioned” may not be the most accurate description.

Their ice cream shop is a place where sinfully sweet worlds collide. They mix flavors you might not think to combine, but mesh perfectly, regardless. Their Carrot Cake Batter & Hazelnut Praline ice cream, for instance, is a somewhat unexpected delight.
