A New Level of Sophistication with 2013 Honda Accord

The 2013 Honda Accord is fully redesigned giving it more than just sophistication. The family-sedan now has a more edgy look, better fuel economy, and exceptional performance. The materials used inside and out are visibly more high quality. The redesigned Honda Accord is a fusion of sporty and classy. It is probably the most elegant design Honda has come up with in recent years. The 2013 Honda Accord is available as mid-size sedan and coupe.

4-cylinder sedans come in four body trims: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and EX-L with Navi. 3.5-Liter V6 come in three trims: EX-L, EX-L with Navi and Touring. The Coupe models are LX-S, EX, EX-L and EX-L with Navi. The V6 coupes are EX-L and EX-L with Navi.

The base model LX is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, full power accessories, rearview camera, Hill Start Assist, Eco Assist System, dual-zone auto climate control, cruise control, 4-speaker audio system with CD, auxiliary, iPod/USB interface and Pandora.

Sporty trim has additional horsepower, 18-inch wheels, rear spoiler, leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift paddles for continuously variable transmission (CVT) and 8-way driver seat. EX is upgraded with heated mirrors, sunroof, 17-inch wheels, keyless ignition and entry and LaneWatch blind-spot display.

EX-L trims’ most notable features are lane-departure warning systems, HondaLInk smartphone app integration and a navigation system with voice recognition for the EX-L Navi. The Touring is the top of the line. It has LED headlights and adaptive cruise control.

A 2.4-Liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 185 horsepower and 181 lb. ft. of torque powers most sedans and coupes. The sporty trim though makes 189 hp and 182 lb. ft. of torque. Six speed manual is the transmission for sedan trims LX, Sport, EX and coupe trims LX-S and EX. The new CVT is standard on EX-L sedan and coupe but is an option for all the other trims.
