2013 Honda CR-V: Affordable and Reliable Compact SUV

Honda did major revamp on its CR-V model last year and with that, the 2013 Honda CR-V appears to be unchanged. The 2013 Honda CR-V SUV maintains the major changes it underwent last year which means that it still project a modest-sized physique with a spacious interior. The Honda CR-V is available in three trims: LX, EX and EX-L. CR-V’s power system is a 2.4-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine that yields a 185-horsepower and a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. The engine is linked to a 5-speed automatic transmission.

The sedan’s fuel economy ratings are 23/31 for its front drive offering while the 4WD offering has an EPA of 22/30. All of CR-V’s trims are equipped with a multistage alternator and the Eco Assist system.

The new CR-V still has the same rough look and remained to be large. Its high-profile grille and lamp features are accentuated with its low roofline. Loading and unloading has never been so savvy with the new CR-V thanks to its large-single liftgate and a lowered lift-over height. LX models are equipped with 16-inch steel wheels while its EX and EX-L trims are integrated with 17-inch alloy wheels.

Peeping inside, the 2013 Honda CR-V sports a smart and elegant look. It has a sporty sculpted dashboard with bright gauges. Comfortable seating has always been CR-V’s prime concern and with that comes a supportive front seat and large legroom for its rear seats. The cargo area offers more space when the seats are folded.

Other standard features in 2013 Honda CR-V are AM/FM/CD audio system, Bluetooth Handsfree Link, Pandora Internet Radio interface, Multi-Information Display for its LX trim, EX has an added feature such as power moonroof, alloy wheels, privacy glass and security system as well as EX-L trim with leather upholstery, heated front seats, XM Radio and dual-zone climate control.
