2013 Honda Accord: Redeeming Its Top Seat in the Category of Family Sedans

A family-sedan that has long been known for its reliability and looks, the 2013 Honda Accord has been fully redesigned to keep up with the name it’s been known for together with excellent packaging, great fuel efficiency and good driving dynamics. As said, the 2013 Honda Accord is the fully redesigned offering of the Accord family. Some of its notable changes include smaller and lighter dimensions. Also coming in as something new for the 2013 Honda Accord is the addition of direct fuel injection on its 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. This propelling machine is matched to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). With the powerful match up, the 2013 Honda Accord has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 27/36 mpg city/highway.

The fully redesigned Honda Accord offers two body styles: midsize sedan and coupe. The sedan four-cylinder sedan models are offered in five different trim levels LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and EX-L with Navi while the 3.5-liter V6 sedan is available in EX-L, EX-L with Navi and Touring trim levels. On the other hand, the Accord coupe comes in LX-S, EX, EX-L and EX-L with Navi while the coupe’s V6-powered body style is offered in EX-L and EX-L with Navi trims.

Inside the 2013 Accord is an interior made up of soft-touch materials. A notable addition to the interior features of the new Accord is the LCD screen placed at the center of the car’s dashboard. Below the LCD screen is an 8-inch VGA screen while the bottom screen features touch-sensitive controls for audio and phone functions.

The front seats are pretty comfortable with its driver’s seat equipped with a lumbar support. The rear seats and trunk area are given with more space. Safety features of the 2013 Accord include antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front seat side airbags and side curtain airbags as well as front head restraints.
