2013 Honda Accord: All New – All Better

What started out as a 2-door hatchback, the 2013 Honda Accord had come a long way to become one of the best full – sized family cars available today. For this year’s model, the new Accord gets a full revamp offering a sleeker design, fuel-efficient, comfortable and smooth ride. The 2013 Honda Accord’s exterior look sports a lustrous and heaved sheetmetal. Inside, the sophisticated sedan is surprisingly roomier despite a shrunk exterior projection. In addition to all-new features, the new Accord also offers two fresh trims: the Sport model that targets the younger audience and the Touring model.

Honda Accord for this year’s offering enters the market with two gasoline engines and three transmission options. For the base model, the Honda Accord has a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 185 horsepower or 189 horsepower for its Sport trim. The optional engine is a 3.5-liter V6 generating a powerful 278 horsepower. Accord’s 4-cylinder engine works with a 6-speed manual transmission or CVT automatic while the V6 engine can be linked to a 6-speed manual transmission.

Outside, 2013 Accord sports a curvier sheet metal. The sedan also got a little bit smaller with a decrease of about three inches on its length. LED exterior lights and honeycomb grille have been modernized as well to keep up with the trends. The Sport trim presents a tougher look that included an 18-inch wheel, dual exhaust pipes and spoilers. The inner part of the Accord seats five with soft touch finishes. An LCD screen and an upper 8 – inch VGA screen are just few of the added technology in 2013 Honda Accord.

Front row seating is comfortable with a lumbar support for the driver’s seat. Rear legroom is pretty spacious as well as its trunk. Safety features of the new Accord are outstanding and has been awarded as a Top Safety Pick by the IIHS.
