2013 Honda Accord: A Coupe and A Sedan For Family Use
Leading the mid-size sedan category, the 2013 Honda Accord still maintains its superb function with some changes. Those modifications include a lighter weight, softer lines, more solid styling and a new technology with its LaneWatch system, wherein drivers get a wider view of the passenger side lane. Although 2013 Honda Accord certainly did a whole lot of changes for this year’s offering, it still maintained its spacious cabin and large trunk that made Accord the leading coupe and sedan within its category.
The 2013 Honda Accord’s exterior features have been modified that featured its sleeker roofline and carved rear end. Doors were made even larger to ease the entry and exit of child-safety seats, with door handles that are within reach and an easy to open trunk door. The trunk of the new Accord is as well roomy.
The new Accord comes in with a 2.4 – liter four – cylinder engine that generates 185-horsepower and linked to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The 4-cylinder engine has a fuel economy of 27/36 mpg city/highway. Buyers may also opt to have its 278 – hp, 3.5 – liter V- 6 engine.
If one has to compare the interior of the Honda Accord 2012 model, one would see how the 2013 Honda Accord had changed. It now has great upholstery without having to worry of any wrinkles of the seat’s covers; its dash and center are restructured with faux-wood trim chrome accents.
An additional feature that Honda has made in Accord is that it gave the rear seats with more space allowing for a five comfortable seating of any size. A new screen is also added to the Accord’s technology feature wherein an i-MID screen displays music options, incoming messages and status of gas-mileage and the center stack screen that allows switching of settings.
Overall, the interior design of the new Accord had taken a more elegant and classy look.
